Nissin Foods (Hong Kong) Charity Fund Continues Supporting Talents in Food and Nutritional Sciences

HONG KONG, Jan 12, 2024 – (ACN Newswire) – Nissin Foods (Hong Kong) Charity Fund (“Charity Fund”) has successfully held the 2023-2024 Nissin Foods Scholarship Presentation Ceremony today, together with The Chinese University of Hong Kong (“CUHK”), to award scholarships covering full tuition fees for a total of ten awardees for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Established by the Charity Fund and CUHK in 2023, the scholarship aims to encourage undergraduate and postgraduate students of CUHK’s Food and Nutritional Sciences (Hons) programme to pursue academic excellence. The three new awardees are: LAM Tsz Hang and SHUM Wai Hang from the Bachelor’s degree programme, and ZHOU Dandan from the PhD programme.

Apart from extending their support to new awardees, the Chairty Fund also made it a renewable scholarship which intends to support the students throughout their study period, so that the students could focus on their studies without worrying about their financial burden. The seven renewed awardees are CHAN Hoi Yi, HSU Po Ling, KWAN Ka Yi, LAM Shuk Fan, WONG Wai Yee from the Bachelor’s degree programme, and KEI Nelson, LIN Yuhong from the PhD programme.

“The First IPO of Pu’er Tea” Lancang Tea Officially Listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange

HONG KONG, Dec 22, 2023 – (ACN Newswire) – Pu’er Lancang Ancient Tea Co., Ltd. (“Lancang Tea” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”; stock code: 6911.HK), one of the most famous Pu’er tea companies in China, officially listed and commenced trading on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “Hong Kong Stock Exchange”) this morning.

This Global Offering for Lancang Tea involves 21,000,000 Shares (assuming the Over-allotment Option is not exercised) at a final Offer Price of HK$10.70 per Offer Share. The gross proceeds of the Company from the Global Offering were HK$224.7 million. The Hong Kong Public Offer was oversubscribed with valid applications received for approximately 13.23 times the total number of Offer Shares initially available for subscription, and the International Offer was also oversubscribed by approximately 1.32 times. Tianyun International (6836.HK) To Establish a joint venture with Linyi Development

HONG KONG, Dec 12, 2023 – (ACN Newswire) – Tianyun International Holdings Limited (“Tianyun International”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) (Stock code: 6836.HK), a leading seller and manufacturer of processed fruits products and and specialty beverages in China, is pleased to announce that, today the Group and Linyi City Development and Industry Development Co. Ltd. (“Linyi Development”), entered into a cooperation agreement (the “Cooperation Agreement”) to establish a joint venture (the “Joint Venture Project”), which will be principally engaged in warehousing and the sales of agricultural and processed products. The Group will be able to leverage on Linyi Development’s resources in the storage and the sale of agricultural and processed products to create synergies.

As a state-owned enterprise affiliated to Hedong District Finance Bureau of Linyi City, Shandong Province, Linyi Development is an important pillar for the economic development of the Linyi region. Linyi Development is a diversified business with a wide range of key tasks including urban land consolidation, urban improvement, industry introduction and municipal construction, making outstanding contributions to the integrated and economic development of Linyi City. According to the Notice on the “14th Five-Year Plan for the Revitalisation and Development of the Old Revolutionary Region of Linyi” issued by the Linyi Municipal People’s Government, it is planned to enhance the structural layout of the agricultural industry in the region, to create a supply base for high-quality agricultural products, and to build and operate the project of Linyi International Exchange Centre of Agricultural By-products.

Pursuant to the Cooperation Agreement, Linyi Development shall invest the RMB equivalent of US$95 million into the Joint Venture Project, with a shareholding ratio of 95% in the joint venture and will be responsible for the operation of the Joint Venture Project. The Group shall invest the HKD equivalent of US$5 million into the Joint Venture Project, with a shareholding ratio of 5% in the joint venture.

Through the joint venture, Linyi Development and the Group will promote the development of the local agricultural products marketing and processing industry, and plan to play an important role in the buiding and operating of Linyi International Exchange Centre of Agricultural By-products, injecting new vitality into the local economy.

Upon completion of the Subscription, the Company will hold approximately 8.40% of the enlarged issued share capital of Jianlibao Asia and hold an indirect interest of approximately 4.76% to 5% in Guangdong Jianlibao Co., Ltd. (“Jianlibao”). At the same time, the Company intends to further increase its effective interest in Jianlibao to approximately 20%.
