New Digital Badge Program Elevates Cority Software Users as Platform Experts

TORONTO, ON, Mar 28, 2023 – (ACN Newswire) – Leading global enterprise EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) software provider Cority announced today the launch of a Digital Badge Program to enable Cority users to celebrate training accomplishments and visually demonstrate their proficiency with Cority's best-in-class platform. As adoption of Cority's products grows across a spectrum of industries worldwide, the new program allows users to earn virtual badges, publicly share their successes, and immediately validate their expertise. Companies in turn gain assurance that employees are current with core competencies that impact daily operations, boost productivity, and increase profitability.

The Digital Badge Program is the latest employee-centric approach to EHS training from Cority Academy, which began in January 2022. The online learning platform, which employs gamification to engage employees with dynamic modules and quizzes, teaches Cority customers how to effectively use, adopt, and optimize the broad spectrum of EHS, Sustainability, and Quality software solutions that Cority offers.

Online learning and digital badging are powerful tools for employee engagement and professional development. A recent study from Research.com found that 90 percent of poll respondents preferred online learning to traditional learning methods, finding it more conducive to learning on the job.

"Cority is committed to providing users with unparalleled online learning tools that elevate their experience and benefit their organizations," said Amanda Smith, Cority's vice president of solutions marketing and enablement. "We partner with customers to empower people to make a difference and ensure employees are set up for success by creating customized programs that grow and flex with the unique and ever-evolving needs of the organization."

Seventeen badges, awarded for proficiency in topic areas ranging from individual clouds, such as Safety or Environmental, to platform-centric tools such as Business Rules, are available today, and more are being planned. Users earn badges when they complete any of Cority's curated learning paths and achieve a minimum score of 80.

Digital badges provide their earners with the ability to showcase their credentials with others virtually – on social media, as a direct link with potential employers, and as an addition to an email signature.

Each digital badge has a unique URL that includes metadata verifying the badge issuer and recipient, as well as the criteria for earning the badge. This allows current and prospective employers to validate a Cority digital badge holder's competencies and skills with a single click.

Cority's consistent recognition as a leader in Verdantix's benchmark Green Quadrant for EHS Software report over the past five years has led many organizations to increasingly view its platform as an industry standard and seek employees trained to leverage its solutions.

"Experience with the software is in high demand, creating a valuable opportunity for our users," added Smith. "Not only can they become internal experts and resources for existing teams, but they can also publicly showcase their sought-after skills."

Standing out in today's competitive market is critical, and according to a study by LinkedIn, profiles with certifications and badges are viewed six times more often than the average profile.

The Digital Badge Program's pilot launched on March 27. The program is set to be available to all Cority customers by April 10.

U.S. Polo Assn. Outfits USA Team in Prestigious Westchester Cup, Airing on ESPN

WELLINGTON, FL, Mar 28, 2023 – (ACN Newswire) – U.S. Polo Assn., the official brand of the United States Polo Association (USPA), is the Official Apparel Sponsor for the USA Team in the biggest rivalry in the sport of polo, the Westchester Cup. Held at the USPA National Polo Center (NPC) – Wellington, Florida, on Friday, March 31, 2023, the United States will host England in this prestigious international competition.

The illustrious Westchester Cup has a 137-year-old history where the United States and England have challenged each other a total of 19 times, with the last match played in 2019. Luxury designer Tiffany & Co. created the coveted, sterling silver Westchester Cup trophy for the first game dating back to 1886, and the trophy is currently held by the USA Team.

U.S. Polo Assn. is proudly outfitting the USA Team in the Westchester Cup with custom-designed performance jerseys and USPA Pro apparel. Official event merchandise will be available at the Retail Shop at NPC, open Friday, March 31 from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. ET next to the 7th Chukker, as well as online at USPAPro.com. Official Westchester Cup merchandise includes event-branded tee shirts, hoodies, and caps.

"Bringing the Westchester Cup rivalry, with its great athleticism and sportsmanship, back to United States soil for the first time since 2019 is going to be a memorable experience for players and sports fans alike," said Stewart Armstrong, Chairman of the USPA. "We've seen so much growth across the sport of polo in recent years so it's thrilling to have this highly competitive and exciting event at the new NPC, plus airing on ESPN for the first time in polo's history."

Played on the U.S. Polo Assn. Stadium Field 1, fans can watch the competition up close from either the stadium, private boxes, field side tailgates or reservable hospitality tents. For those unable to attend, ESPN allows sports fans to tune into the action of the 2023 Westchester Cup for the first time ever on ESPN's family of brands. Check your local listings for air times and channels.

A victory in 2019 marked the first win for the United States after four consecutive losses to England. The USA Team has emerged victorious on 12 occasions in the competition's history and is currently defending the winning title in the upcoming 2023 Westchester Cup.

"Hosting the Westchester Cup, one of the biggest rivalries in polo, on American soil and connecting with sports fans around the globe through our relationship with ESPN is a major highlight of the 2023 Polo Season here in the United States," said J. "We are proud to support the USA Team as the Official Team Sponsor and root them on for yet another victory in 2023."

The USA Team boasts accomplished players, each with a decorated career in the sport of polo. Team Captain and newly inducted Polo Hall of Famer Jeff Hall (7), returns to compete in the Westchester Cup, alongside Jared Zenni (7), who is the only U.S. player returning from the victorious 2019 USA Team. The England Team consists of Team Captain Tomas Beresford (7), James Beim (6), Max Charlton (6), and Mark Tomlinson (6).

"It's an honor to be competing for the third time in the Westchester Cup alongside other high-goal polo players and teammates," said Jeff Hall. "Together with my team, we are honored to represent the United States in such a historic and patriotic game and hope to again bring home a USA victory."

For the Group, it has in the pipeline about 40 products in different development stages for new business segments such as neuro-intervention and structural heart disease intervention products, and new product series. All circumstances considered, the Group expects its existing production capacity to be saturated in the future, commanding building of new production facilities to meet medium to long-term market demand and for effective capacity allocation.

Fuchun Bay New Town is in Fuyang District, Hangzhou. After the completion of construction of the new base, it will not only be the Group's largest R&D and production facility, but also a strategic location in the Yangtze River Delta. Rapid Progress on Installation of INNIO’s Hydrogen Production

JENBACH, AUSTRIA, Mar 28, 2023 – (ACN Newswire) – To convert green electricity to green hydrogen (H2) for its power-to-hydrogen-to-power project, INNIO has ordered two electrolyzers with a total capacity of 2 MW from H-TEC SYSTEMS. This represents a critical step in realizing the company's sustainable hydrogen product strategy as part of which all new Jenbacher plants are already "Ready for H2" today. The entire Jenbacher engine product line is expected to be rolled out for 100% hydrogen operation as of 2025. At the same time, the supply of green hydrogen at the Jenbach site represents a milestone on the way to net zero operations on site.

The 2 MW system will be constructed in a container design located on the premises of the Achensee power plant of TIWAG – Tiroler Wasserkraft AG. Its subsidiary TINEXT will build the necessary compressor and storage terminals. Locally produced hydrogen – a key enabler of the energy transition – will be transported in a pipeline from the TINEXT compressor and storage terminals to INNIO's primary operations in Jenbach.

At a system efficiency of 74%, the two H-TEC SYSTEMS PEM electrolyzers will produce a total of up to 900 kg of green hydrogen daily. This quantity is enough to power the 2 MW Jenbacher H2 engine test bench. Thus, in addition to solar, battery, and hydropower, the primary operations can also be supplied with green electricity and heat generated from green hydrogen. At its INNIO360 Energy Lab in Jenbach, INNIO demonstrates how the energy transition of an industrial plant works.

"By ordering these electrolyzers from H-TEC SYSTEMS, we are taking the next important steps in further advancing INNIO's pioneering role in green power generation. After all, supplying green hydrogen represents an important prerequisite for the sustainable, economical, and timely implementation of our hydrogen product strategy," states Martin Muhlbacher, INNIO Vice President and Site Manager in Jenbach. "Using green hydrogen to generate electricity allows us to further reduce the carbon footprint of our Jenbach site," Muhlbacher continues.

"At INNIO's energy lab, our electrolyzers will be used to expand a more secure, economical and green energy supply with combined heat and power plants," explains Tobias Fritsch, project manager at H-TEC SYSTEMS. "This technology is the backbone of the energy transition, since hydrogen – as in this case – replaces fossil fuels and, at the same time, can be stored for weeks and even months. We appreciate the trust that INNIO has placed in us and the opportunity to jointly realize this forward-looking project for Austria."

This project is sponsored by funds from the Climate and Energy Fund and implemented within the framework of the Austrian Research, Technological Development, and Innovation initiative "Energy Model Region."
