Pizza in 5 Minutes – Korea’s No. 1 “Single-Serve Pizza” GOPIZZA Launches in Changi Airport with Brand-New AI Technology for Fast, Consistently High-Quality Pizza

SINGAPORE, Nov 10, 2023 – (ACN Newswire) – Renowned pizza brand from South Korea, GOPIZZA, made its debut at Changi Airport’s Terminal 2, marking its 25th establishment in Singapore with new flavour and AI-technology introductions within the company.

GOPIZZA’s Next-Gen AI-Technology for Perfect Pizza Anytime, Anywhere

Pizzas are often thought to be a shared-serving meal that requires substantial time to be prepared. However, the launch of GOPIZZA challenges this very mindset by introducing single-serving pizza delivered just like a fast-food meal. Every step of the pizza-making process is strictly controlled with the incorporation of the AI Smart Topping Table, GOBOT Station, and its latest iteration of GOVEN.

This new series of AI-Technology roll-out is especially prominent in GOPIZZA’s Changi Airport outlet, where it ensures consistent and fresh baked pizza for hungry travellers who often face the urgency of purchasing food-on-the-go.

“We’re thrilled to bring GOPIZZA to the heart of Changi Airport’s Terminal 2. Our core belief is that time is of the essence, and this is also reflected in our motto, ‘Fast, But Delicious’. Incorporating breakthrough technology in our processes, we aim to redefine the dining experience by merging speed with taste. At Changi Airport, travellers can now enjoy quick, freshly baked on-the-spot pizza, ensuring they don’t have to compromise quality for time.” shared Jay Lim, global CEO of GOPIZZA.

GOPIZZA’s Five Minutes Pizza Journey

Each pizza is assembled on the AI Smart Topping Table, where a smart camera is installed overhead to swiftly identify and track pizza toppings, guiding the staff through each step of assembling the toppings. At the AI Smart Topping Table, the consistency of the ingredients and its quantities are maintained through correction alerts.

It is then baked for 3 minutes in an AI-controlled GOVEN that is twice the temperature as compared to its conventional counterpart.

In just a couple of minutes, the freshly baked GOPIZZA lands on the GOBOT, which is designed to automatically slice the pizzas into GOPIZZA’s signature shape and keep them warm until they are served to the customers.

Airport-Exclusive Flavour & Classic K-Food Delights

Changi Airport Exclusive: GOPIZZA Chilli Crab Pizza
Changi Airport Exclusive: GOPIZZA Chilli Crab Pizza

With already over 12 different flavours in its menu, GOPIZZA seeks to spoil patrons’ choices even further with another new addition – The Chilli Crab Pizza. Paying homage to the iconic local dish, this airport-exclusive flavour is infused with the rich and tangy flavours that Singaporeans adore, where every bite promises a symphony of sweet, spicy, and savoury notes, mirroring the beloved taste of the classic chilli-tomato sauce. GOPIZZA’s Chilli Crab pizza aims to satiate both the international traveller’s curiosity and the local’s craving for a taste of home. Alongside the Chilli Crab Pizza, GOPIZZA also launched a series of creatively fresh offerings, such as the Jalapeno Pepperoni Pizza and Truffle Cheese Pizza, also available only at their Changi Airport outlet.

Among other delectable offerings, GOPIZZA remains true to its brand as a Korean pizza brand, introducing Korean delights like Bulgogi Pie, specially curated for the breakfast menu, as well as presenting a classic favourite, Topokki, embodying the essence of Korean street food culture.

All of GOPIZZA’s delicious pizzas are served on GOPIZZA’s Crispy Basak Dough, where it achieves the perfect pizza texture – crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The Crispy Basak Dough is also engineered to withstand delivery, guaranteeing that every pizza, whether enjoyed on the spot or delivered to your door, maintains its oven-fresh taste.

GOPIZZA’s Expansion – Locally and Globally

Locally, GOPIZZA has established an impressive count of 25 outlets across the island after the brand first opened its doors here in 2020. Simultaneously, on a global scale, GOPIZZA is experiencing remarkable growth, with projections indicating that the total number of outlets will reach an impressive 200 by October.

This global expansion plan is in full swing, and GOPIZZA is set to open its fifth outlet in Central Park, Indonesia in November 2023. This expansion comes on the heels of the successful inauguration of CGV Grand Indonesia in 2022 and the recent launch of an outlet in Mall of Indonesia.

GOPIZZA’s innovative approach to pizza-making, driven by cutting-edge technology and an unwavering commitment to taste-consistency, has made it a beloved choice for pizza enthusiasts worldwide, ensuring a bright and promising future for the brand both locally and globally.

Store Information

Nestled between Dunkin Donuts and Boost Juice Bar, GOPIZZA is located at T2 Departure/Transit South, Unit No. 02-K15 at Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 Departure Hall. Operating hours are from 6AM to 1AM daily.

The Assembly Place Launches Its Largest Co-Living Space Till Date

SINGAPORE, Oct 19, 2023 – (ACN Newswire) – The Assembly Place (TAP) has successfully launched its largest co-living space till date. Campus by the Assembly Place is Singapore’s first premium co-living student accommodation situated along 116 Lorong J and 119 Lorong K Telok Kurau, spanning more than 100,000 sqft with more than 20 facilities tailored for students, such as social kitchens, study pods, indoor gym and outdoor CrossFit zone and with landscapes that boast of hideout gardens and pavilions. There are a total of 426 beds in this asset.

“Many thoughts have been put into the design of this space since we took over the asset in May this year.” said Eugene Lim, CEO and Founder of The Assembly Place. “We realise that most student accommodation in Singapore would just have a single bed with a small desk beside it. What we have created is a self-sufficient loft system that our students can still enjoy their own privacy while staying with fellow members in the room. These pod-like system comes with its own bed, wardrobe, study table, as well as a space to put their luggage and even shelves for their books. Each space comes with its own lighting system and power sockets for charging of laptops and other electronics” he added.

“We have also engaged renown landscape architect, Ecoplan with our landscape design. With a site that spans more than 100,000 sqft, we want to ensure that the landscape and facilities that is created will be suitable for our students” said Lim.

More than just spaces, The Assembly Place is in the business of building a robust community. With the launch of Campus, TAP will have more than 1800 keys and is on target to cross 2000 keys by the end of this year. “As our community grow and with more members in our database, we can have more scalable and meaningful community events” says Lim. “We are very excited with the many programs that have been lined up at Campus which will also benefit our wider community. The joy is always to see our members connecting and making meaningful friendships, especially for our overseas friends during their stay in Singapore.”

Strengthening The Assembly Place’s Position as the Accommodation of Choice

Other than the launch of Campus, The Assembly place has also secured 2 more buildings, 18 Roberts Lane, by Goodland Group and 21 Lor 13 Geylang. These 2 additions will add on another 55 keys to TAP’s growing portfolio and stronghold in these areas. Renovation works has started for both projects and they will be launched by the end of this year.

TAP has also recently launched its second serviced residences, The Assembly Place, Serviced Residences @ River Valley which is located at 3 Tank Road and their third serviced residences located at 18 Penhas is slated to be launched by the end of the month.

These will add on to the range of accommodation choices that can cater to the different needs of our members and strengthen TAP’s position to be the accommodation of choice.

Strong Occupancy Rate

In early April this year, TAP took over Feng Lai Mansion, an 80 keys apartment block located at 39 Lorong 30 Geylang. It was launched in two phases during the third week of May after completing major renovation and uplifting works. Within the first 2 months of launch, TAP has managed to achieved 100% occupancy rate for this property. The strong take up rate can be attributed to the convenient location, attractive room rates and the growing demand of quality accommodation in the area.

Since the launch of the residential building block at 6 Duke’s Road and 551 Bukit Timah Road in February this year, all of the 42 keys within the property were fully leased within the first six weeks of launch and demand and occupancy has remained strong till date.

With the shift in mindsets and lifestyle preferences, TAP is optimistic that demand and occupancy for co-living will remain strong due to its cost-efficiency, social connections and convenience.

About The Assembly Place

The Assembly Place is a homegrown Co-Living brand that was founded in 2019 and started from a humble beginning of 6 rooms in 2019. It is the first Co-Living operator in Singapore to cover the full spectrum of accommodation spaces, to be the accommodation of choice. IKEA is Shocking Norwegians With Alternative Motives to Buy Their Furniture

OSLO, NORWAY / ACN Newswire / September 20, 2023 / For decades, IKEA has been showing us how beautiful our homes could be. But in their newest campaign, they are boldly admitting that “Life is not an IKEA catalogue”. The commercials show the illusion of a picture-perfect IKEA catalogue home being invaded by life itself. Rather than just showcasing their new products in their usual inspirational way, we see their furniture peed and vomited on, and destroyed at a party. They then show us how their products are designed for life’s big and small challenges.

Life is not an IKEA catalogue - An image from the latest IKEA campaign in Norway

Life is not an IKEA catalogue
An image from the latest IKEA campaign in Norway

One of the films, showing a mom violently throwing up whilst trying to play with her toddler, has caused a stir in Norway. Where some find the film a bit gross and disturbing, most were positively engaged and praised the film for showing a relatable side of a not so perfect life.

IKEA’s Head of Marketing Communication, Annika Mørch Asté, is not afraid of showing their furniture in a more brutally honest light. “IKEA products are made to let you handle the everyday, because we believe that both furniture and your home are meant to be used. Sure, it’s a bit rough to see our products on TV covered in vomit and dog pee,” Annika laughs. “But life isn’t always neat and tidy, so we think it’s great that the campaign can reflect just that,” she concludes.

“With this campaign, we wanted to showcase the more honest sides of life at home and how our products are designed to withstand daily life. Good design does more than just look great in a catalogue,” says Celin Kjenslie, Country Marketing Manager at IKEA Norway.

The campaign is currently live in Norway, with three separate films; Party: https://youtu.be/6b1oJzXeu5c, Pee: https://youtu.be/9drwyBOGRWI and Puke: https://youtu.be/r6h3mCx6Uwk
